Dr. Raja Roy is founder of Quality Foundation, an international management consultant and international speaker, with more than 30 years of multidisciplinary experience.

Dr. Raja Roy’s research extends beyond conventional management systems into the modelling of how organisational issues, decisions and risks influence performance. His WRRD Framework — Weakness, Rationality Limits, Risk and Dissatisfaction — provides a structured way to characterise strategic and operational issues within an organisational or supply-chain ecosystem.

Building on this foundation, his Orientation–Performance Model examines how strategic and operational orientations, together with proactive and reactive management approaches, influence organisational performance; the model was empirically validated using structural equation modelling.

A continuing area of his research interest is rationality–riskiness analysis—understanding how the quality of managerial judgement, organisational orientation and the choice of response can either reduce uncertainty or create additional risk. This work reflects his broader interest in connecting strategy, risk, organisational behaviour and measurable performance into practical models for sustainable organisational development.

As Founder and Principal Consultant of Quality Foundation, he has consulted, trained and audited 350+ organisations in India and overseas, working across manufacturing, public sector, Information Technology, Engineering & infrastructure, process industries, food and beverage, education and service industries.
